About the Filter Rule Items Form

This form, accessible from a Filter Rules record's Filter Rule Items tab specifies one of the filter statements in the filter rule. (See About the Filter Rules Form for more information.)

Note that Aptify automatically generates Filter Rules records and Filter Rule Items sub-type records when a user creates a new filter rule in a container entity (such as ProductPrices or Sales Tax). A user or administrator should not have to create these records manually.

General Tab

Entity Instance (Required)

This field defines the entity instance to which this filter statement applies. Entity Instances are defined at the Filter Rule Types record.

Field

The field in the entity (specified in the Entity Instance) used to filter records.

Operator (Required)

The operator for the filter statement. This field links to the Filter Rule Operators service.

Value

The value for the filter statement.
