About the Location Link Field Type

Some fields reference a particular file, folder, or Object Repository Object found on your computer, network, or Aptify system. These field types include an icon to the right of the text field. Clicking this icon or pressing the F4 key opens a selection dialog so you can identify the location of a file, folder, or object. The figure illustrates a field that is linked to a file found on your computer or network.
