About the Products Service Views

The Products Service (part of the Product Setup and Maintenance application) contains sample views of the following view types:

List Views

The following sample list views are contained within the Products service:

All Products


The All Products list view displays all products currently in the system, including the Product's prices as a view hierarchy.

Currently Sold


The Currently Sold list view displays all products currently available for sale based on the Products Currently Sold check box.

Inventory Items

Inventory Items View
The Inventory Items list view is a drill-down view of all products that require fulfillment. The view displays Product Inventory Ledger details for each product as a view hierarchy.

Kit Products


The Kit Products view displays all products that use Kit Product or Product Grouping as the Kit Type.

Meetings


The Meetings list view displays all meetings products in the Products service.

Membership Items


The Membership Items list view displays all membership dues products in the Products service.

Product Lookup

The Product Lookup view is a prompted view for a lookup of Products by Product Name, Product Code or Product Type.

Once the appropriate information has been entered into the prompted view, clicking the OK button loads the view.

Products and Sub-Product

Products and Sub-Products View
The Products and Sub-Product list view displays products that have one or more sub-products in the Products service. The sub-products are also displayed as a view hierarchy.

Publications

Publication Products View
The Publications list view displays all Publication products in the Products service. The view includes a hierarchy that displays Publication details.

Subscription Items

Subscription Items View
The Subscription Items list view displays all subscription products currently in the Products service. This view excludes membership dues products.

The Products service contains the following sample chart views:

Count By Category

Count By Category View

The Count By Category 3-D pie chart displays the relative percentage of products within each category compared with the total number of records in the Products service.

Count By Category/Type

Count By Category View
The Count By Category/Type view is a doughnut chart that displays the number of products within each product type and within each category for that type.

Count By Committee

Count By Committee View

The Count By Committee chart view is a 3-D pie chart that displays the number of products linked to a committee.

Count By Organization

Count By Organization View
The Count By Organization chart view is a column chart that displays the number of products linked to each organization in the system.

Count By Root Category

Count By Root Category View
The Count By Root Category chart view is a 3-D pie chart that displays the number of products in each Root Category level.

Count By Type

Count By Type View
The Count By Type chart view is a 3-D pie chart that displays the number of products for each product type.

Inventory Chart

Inventory Chart View
The Inventory column chart displays the inventory on hand for each product category.

Product Inventory Chart

Product Inventory Chart View
The Product Inventory Chart view is a bar chart that displays the inventory on hand for each product.

Shipment Volume

Shipment Volume View
The Shipment Volume chart view is a column chart that displays the number of units that have shipped in each product category to date.

Calendar Views

The following sample calendars views are contained within the Products service:

Product Availability Calendar

Product Availability Calendar View
The Product Availability Calendar view displays products and the dates that they become available. This view excludes meeting products.

Note that this calendar only displays products that have a specific date range for availability.

Revenue Recognition Dates

Revenue Recognition Dates Calendar View
The Revenue Recognition Dates calendar view shows revenue recognition dates for products that use a recognition date in the future or use deferred income.
