About the Gifts In Kind Form

Pledges are not necessarily always in the form of cash. The Pledges module also supports pledges of non-cash gifts from donors. Gifts in Kind may be auctioned at a later date.

Top Panel

Name (Required)

The name of the gift.

Category (Required)

The Gifts In Kind Category is related to this record.

Currency Type (Required)

The Currency Type field indicates the currency in which the Estimated Value, Minimum Bid, Bid Increment, and Sold For fields will be expressed.

Description

A brief description associated with this Gift In Kind.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Gifts in Kind record.

Comments Tab

The Comments tab contains any comments relevant to the Gifts in Kind record.

General Tab

Location

The organization that has taken possession of this item until the auction. Links to the Organizations service.

Estimated Value

The estimated value of the Gift In Kind.

Valid From and Valid Until Dates

The dates when the Estimated Value field applies. These fields are important to specify for items that may appreciate or depreciate in value over time.

Minimum Bid

The minimum bid for this item. This field applies to Gifts in Kind to be auctioned.

Bid Increment

The increment by which bids are required to increase. This field applies to Gifts in Kind to be auctioned.

Status (Required)

The status of the Gift In Kind in relation to the auction. Options are Current, Sold, Discarded, or In Auction.

Sold To

The name of the purchaser.

Date Sold

The date this item was sold. This field applies to Gifts in Kind to be auctioned.

Sold For

The price that this item fetched at auction. This field applies to Gifts in Kind to be auctioned.
