An organization specifies whether or not a class appears online and what information displays by configuring the Web tab on a Classes record. Follow these steps to configure a class so it is visible online (this assumes that the Class's Course is already enabled for online viewing):
- Open the Classes record from the Classes service.
- Confirm that the Class's Status is Approved.
- Only Approved classes linked to Available courses appear in the Class Schedule on an e-Business website.

- Click the Web tab.
- Select the Web Enabled option to allow information about this class to appear on an Aptify e-Business website.
- In the Web Name field, enter the name for the class as it should appear on the website.
- Select the Show Instructor Info option to allow information about the instructor to appear on an Aptify e-Business website.

-
Select the Web Template, if applicable, using the Find function.
This option is only enabled when Web Page Type is set to Template.

- In the Web Image field, enter a URL for the image used for this class, if desired.
- In the Web Product Content field, enter the URL that points to a product download, if the product can be delivered electronically.
- Enter a brief description of the class as it will display on-line in the Web Description field.
- Click the Long Description tab and enter detailed class information that can appear on the class's Web page on the e-Business website.
- Save the Classes record.
- If the class is to be displayed on an e-Business website is a meeting type class, the ShowMeetingsLinkToClass attribute in the Aptify_UC_Navigation.config file must be set to True. This attribute is set to False by default, which means that meetings linked to the class will not show up in the Meetings Center or meeting calendar, and the relevant meeting information only appears in the Class Schedule within the Education Center. Setting this attribute to True enables meetings associated with the class to appear as browseable entries in the Meetings Center and calendar. See the "Making Changes to the User Control Web Config File" section in the Working with an e-Business Site chapter of the Aptify e-Business 5.5 Developer Guide for more information on updating the Aptify_UC_Navigation.config file.
See Registering for Classes and Viewing Class Information Online for information on the type of class information that can be viewed on-line.
