About the Product Versions Form

This service tracks information about the possible versions of a product that can be linked to an Issue (on the Issues form's Details tab).

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Product Versions record.

General Tab

Name (required)

The name of the product version.

Version (required)

This field identifies the version number for this record. For example, for a “Sample Product 1.0” Product Versions record, the Version is “1.0”.

Description

A description of the product version.

Expected Release Date

If not yet available, the date the product version is expected to be released.

Release Date

The date the product version was actually released.

Display External

Select this option if the product version should be displayed externally. This field can be used in conjunction with an e-Business site to determine the set of Product Versions that should be visible to Web users.
