About the Company Types Form

This service stores the list of available types that can be assigned to a company (such as Retail or Non-Profit). The records in this service appear in the Company Type drop-down list on the Companies record.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Company Types record.

General Tab

Name

The name of the company type (e.g., Retail, Non-Profit, etc.).

Description

A description of the company type.

Is Active

When selected, this option indicates an active company type. When the option is clear, the company type is inactive. Note that this field is for tracking purposes only. A user can see and select inactive company types in the Company Types drop-down list in new Companies records.
