About the Stages Form

This service stores the available stages that can be specified on a Opportunities form. See About the Opportunities Form.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Stages record.

General Tab

Name (Required)

The name of the opportunity stage.


A description of the opportunity stage.


The rank field is used to order the stages. Ranks with lower numbers are earlier in the workflow. Within the Stages drop-down field on the Opportunities record, the available options appear in ascending rank order.


Tracks the applicability of each opportunity stage. Each opportunity type can be Global in scope (applies to all opportunity types) or Type-specific (applies to one or more opportunity types). If this field is set to Type, the applicable Opportunity Types are specified on the Stages record's Opportunity Types tab. See About the Stages Opportunity Types Form. Note that Aptify does not currently filter Stages based on opportunity type, so all stages appear in the Opportunities record's drop-down list regardless of a stage's scope and associated opportunity types. (In other words, a stage appears in the drop-down even if the current Opportunity is not of one of the stage's supported types.)
