Cost records store information about the overall forecasted costs associated with a product. An organization can track forecasted costs associated with a product by creating Costs records on a Products record's Accounting > Cost Planning sub-tab.
Comments Tab
The Comments tab contains any additional information relevant to the Costs record.
General Tab
Type (Required)
The cost's type. This field links to the Product Cost Types service (see About the Product Cost Types Form).
Forecast
The estimated amount of the product cost.
Actual
The actual amount of the product cost.
Currency Type
The currency in which the cost amounts are expressed. This field links to the Currency Types service.
