About the Skills Form

This service stores skills that can be assigned to employees along with a skill level. For example, if you want to characterize an employee as an expert in Order Entry, the Skill Level is Expert and the Skill is Order Entry.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Skills record.

General Tab

Name (Required)

Name of the Skill.

Status

The status of the Skills record. The available options are Pending, Active, and Inactive.

Parent

If the Skills record is a subsidiary of another Skills record, specify the parent skill in the Parent field.

Description

The Description field is for describing the purpose of the skill.

Related Topic Code

This field stores a link to a corresponding topic code for this skill, if applicable. It links to the Topic Codes service.
