Linking a Prepaid Deposit Product to a Payment Type

Aptify can automatically generate an order for a prepaid deposit product at the time a user creates the record for the advanced payment. To support this feature, you must link a Payment Type to a default Prepaid Deposit product. Follow these steps:

1. Open the record for a Payment Type that should support prepaid deposits.
   • The Payment Types service is in the Order Entry Administration application by default.
      
2. Enter the appropriate prepaid deposit product in the Gen. Credit Memo Product field. This field links to the Products service. 
   
   
   
   
3. Save and close the Payment Types record.
