This service stores the set of available types of subscription based on issue frequency. The standard Aptify system includes types that correspond to Annually, Monthly, Weekly, and Quarterly subscriptions. An organization can create additional subscription types if needed.

The Attachments tab lists any files relevant to the Subscription Types record.
General Tab
Name
The name of the subscription type.
Description
A description of the subscription type.
Frequency
This field specifies how often a new issue of the subscription product is distributed.
Revenue Recognition Type
This field specifies the revenue recognition technique used to divide the subscription revenue over the duration of the subscription. All of Aptify's standard subscription types use the Even Dispersion revenue recognition type (meaning that a subscription's revenue is divided equally among the number of issues and that portion of the revenue is recognized by the organization each time a new issue is sent to subscribers). Issue Type
This field is reserved for future use.
Days Per Issue
The standard number of days between issues. For example, for the monthly subscription type, the days per issue is 30 (using a 360-day annual base, so 12 x 30 = 360).
Annual Base
The number of days in a year for revenue recognition purposes. All of Aptify's standard subscription types use an annual base of 360 days.
