Automatically select 'Auto Resize Columns' on views
If a view is run and the layout/columns has not been already changed by the user, automatically select 'Auto Resize Columns' for the first time. This would make viewing of the system much more cleaner as you pretty much have to do 'Auto Resize Columns' on any new view. The system obviously knows when the columns have been resized by the user as it remembers it for the next time - if that is the case then don't automatically select 'Auto Resize Columns'.
This feature with remembering of "Compact Mode' will make the interface much more usable and intuitive.

Agreed! Auto Resize = true should just be the default :D.
Agreed. Auto Resize should be on for all views by default.
