Configuring Forgot Password and Change Password functionality

To use the Forgot Password and Change Password functionality on the newly built e-Business React application, follow the instructions given below:

1. Log in to the server where the e-Business SOA site is installed and hosted.
2. In the e-Business SOA (services) Web.config file, update the attribute PasswordResetURL with the URL of the e-Business React website. Its value should be:
   "<<domainName/ebizUI/change-password>>" , for example, domainName can be "https://aptifyebizreactwindows.azurewebsites.net" .
3. Log in to Aptify Smart Client.
4. Navigate to the Message Templates service from the Messaging Administration application.
5. Search for the message template, Standard Web User Password Reset, and open it.
6. Set the configurations for Message Templates, Message Source and Entity as shown below:
   
7. Make sure you add appropriate information in the From Name and From Email fields.
8. Make sure the Default Message Source, Web User Password Reset, selected in the above message template is Active.
   
9. Make sure the Extended Type configuration for the Email field of the Web User Password Reset Stagings entity, selected in the Message Sources record above is set to Email, as shown below.
