Setting Compact Mode option for Views

Aptify release 7.2 introduces a new setting for views known as Compact Mode which enables users to efficiently view a larger quantity of records within their views. This enhancement involves UI design changes that eliminates white spaces surrounding the view records, resulting in a denser presentation.  Once the user configures this option, it remains consistent across all the view instances of various entities. However, the setting reverts to its default when the page is refreshed or when the user logs out.

In Aptify release 7.3, further enhancements have been made to Compact Mode option, refer to 7.3 Compact Mode Enhancement section for details.

Below are the steps to set the Compact Mode option:

  1. Log in to Aptify Web application and go to the desired entities view record.
  2. Notice the number of records displayed in the view container, for example, refer to the screen shot below and note that only five records are displayed.

  3. Now, click settings icon present on the top-right corner and select Compact Mode option.
Starting Aptify release 7.3, when the compact mode functionality is enabled, the “Compact Mode” option is displayed in bold text.
The settings persist across all the entities views and are set back to default when the page is refreshed or when the user logs out.

7.3 Compact Mode Enhancement

Starting Aptify release 7.3, when the compact mode functionality is enabled by selecting “Compact Mode” option from setting, the “Compact Mode” option is displayed in bold text.

Additionally, selecting "Compact Mode" option enables the subtype grid in all the entities to show more number of records. Previously, only two to three records were being displayed when users opened the subtype records. For example, purchase subtype grid in subscription record displays more number of purchase records in release 7.3.
