Aptify's browser-based interface includes a top-level toolbar that runs the length of the browser window. This toolbar remains in place to provide navigation features through the entire application.

Viewing Aptify Version Details
In Aptify 6.0, the version of the Aptify web interface is displayed in the Settings drop-down list.

About the Quick Search Functionality
The Quick Search functionality allows users to search across multiple services at once, which allows user to view past searches. See the Using the Web Interface Quick Search topic for more details.

In Aptify 5.5.1, this functionality was called Global Search.
About the Universal Search Functionality and Search History
The Universal Search functionality allows users to search across Aptify and other collaborative tools in an organization’s intranet, and also provides a Search History feature, which allows users to view past searches. See Using the Web Interface Universal Search for more details.
About the Community Site Integration Button
The Aptify Community Site provides the ability to be part of discussions, access Aptify documentation, and e-Learning videos, and connect with other organizations. To facilitate engagement with this portal, Aptify includes the 'Connect to Aptify Community' feature which can create a community site account for you (if you don't already have one) or launch the Aptify Community Site with your site credentials directly from the Aptify browser.
Keep in mind the following when connecting to the Community Site through Aptify:
- Email Address is Case Sensitive: The email address must match, including case, the email address that you specified for the Aptify Community Site (which is your username).

Email Address Must Match Address in Persons Record: The email address of the Persons record tied to your Aptify user must match the email address that you specified for the Aptify Community Site.
Note
Each Aptify user must be linked to an Employees and Persons record as certain features in Aptify will not work properly without this relationship. For information on how to link users to entity records, see Creating User Accounts for new users and Editing User Accounts for existing users.
About the Settings Button Drop-Down List
When you Click the Settings Button, it displays a drop-down list of additional functionality that can be performed in the Aptify Web interface.
The Settings Button drop-down list includes functionality to perform the following, broken down by release:
- Server: Identifies the name of the current server.
- Build Version: Identifies the build number of the Aptify web interface.
- Close all Tabs: This action closes all open tabs.
- Close All But Active Tab: This action closes all tabs except the tab that is active or selected.
- Open Tab In New Window: Selecting this option opens the currently displayed tab in a new browser window.
- Clear Pending Changes: This option clears any pending changes that your local session tracked while offline from the main system. See Viewing User Login Status (Online or Offline) and Pending Changes for additional details.
- Clear Exceptions: This option clears the Exceptions list.
- Reset Application: This option refreshes your session and clears any locally stored data.

Viewing Server and User Login Information
In Aptify 6.0, when a user logs into the Aptify Web interface, the login status (Online or Offline) is indicated with a green or red icon on the user photo. The logged in user full name details are displayed in the Userlinks drop-down list. This drop-down also contains the options such as, 'Connect to Aptify Community', 'Change Password', and 'Logout' as shown in the example below. See Viewing User Login Status (Online or Offline) and Pending Changes for additional information. The name of the server is now displayed in the Settings button drop-down list. See About the Settings Button Drop-Down List for more information.
In Aptify 5.5.4, when a user logs in to the Aptify web interface, their first name and login status (online or offline) displays at the top right of the page, as shown in the example below. The name of the server is now displayed in the Settings button drop-down list. S
