The Pin Board feature, introduced in Aptify 6.0, provides the ability to pin the required items on the Pin Board and also allows the users to access them with ease. Following are the items that can be pinned to the pin board:
- Dashboards
- Services
- Views
- Records
The availability of the pinned item(s) on the Pin Board is valid for a single login session. If your session expires or logs out, the pinned item(s) will disappear from the Pin Board.
The items that cannot be pinned to the board are:

The Pin Board can be maximized with a click on the pin button and minimized with a click on the cross button available on the Pin Board. When a record/dashboard/entity/view is pinned to the board, it expands automatically remains in the same state until it is minimized manually.

Types of Pins
In the Pin Board feature, there are two types of pins that help the users to Pin the record(s) to the Pin Board:
Individual Pin
The individual pin provides the ability to pin the Dashboards, Entities, Records, and Views to the Pin Board. For the entities, the pin is located beside the name of the entities and for the views, the pin is located on the right side of the toolbar and also beside the name of the view. For the records, the pin is located on the right side of the toolbar.

Group Pin
The Group Pin also known as Top-Level Pin provides the ability to pin multiple records on the Pin Board at a time when the linked record(s) are opened from a primary record. The Group Pin is located beside the global title.
If there are no sub-record(s) opened from a primary record, the group pin works as an individual pin.
For example, when a company record and a person record are opened from a primary person record, the group pin provides the ability to pin the primary and sub-records on the Pin Board at a time.
