About the Advertising File Types Form

The Advertising File Types record allows the user to create file format types that an organization accepts or uses for advertising purposes. For example, graphics files that make up the advertisement can be submitted from a variety of programs. If your organization offers several choices they can be defined in this service.

Name

The name of the file type goes in this field. It often is the same name as the program that can open the file.

Description

The Description field is for describing specific features about the file type.

File Extension

The File Extension field is for recording the actual file extension letters for reference. The "." is not required or expected in this field.
