Installing a Second Aptify Server Instance

The Aptify Install wizard can install multiple instances of Aptify on a single computer. If you want to install a second instance of Aptify on a test server that has multiple instances of Microsoft SQL Server installed, follow these steps:

1. Install the first instance of Aptify following the steps in Performing a New Aptify Installation. 
2. When finished with the installation of the first instance, re-run Setup.exe to launch the wizard again.
   • The wizard automatically detects that Aptify has previously been installed and displays a screen similar to the following: 
     
      
     
     
3. Select the Install a new instance of this application option and click Next. 
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. See the instructions for the release to be installed for more information on the installation options.
