Managing Referral Requests

This topic describes how an organization can manage referral requests for related products or services not offered by the organization that may arise while working on a particular opportunity. Using Topic Code functionality, Aptify can automatically identify a set of qualifying vendors to whom a referral could be forwarded.

The following is an overview of the processes described in this topic:

  1. An organization that generates referral request to partners while working on opportunities configures its Referral Requests form to include additional tabs.
  2. When a prospect requires a referral to a partner, an account executive creates a referral request. Aptify automatically identifies the set of qualifying vendors who can provide the desired product or service.
  3. The account executive selects a partner from the list of qualifying vendors and creates a Referrals record to track communications with the partner.
