Changing a Log Record Status to Complete

Changing the Status of a Contact Log record to Complete when the work is done makes it possible to create views that filter on completion, which can be extremely useful. For example, it is possible to create views displaying To-Do lists of all records not completed, views of Overdue Incomplete Contacts, etc.

Follow these steps to close a contact log entry:

  1. Open the Contact Log record.
  2. On the Next Contact tab, change the Status to Complete.
  3. Save the record.
