Contact Log Types specify how a customer/member was contacted. Typical types include Voicemail, email, and Phone.
Follow these steps to add additional types:
- Open a new record from the Contact Log Types service, which is located in the Administration – CRM application.
- Enter the type's name in the Name field.
- Enter a description of the type in the Description field.
- Specify an Icon, if desired, to display for contact log entries of this type. This field is reserved for future use.
- This field points to an image in the Aptify Object Repository. See Administering the Object Repository for more information.

- Save and close the record.
